Who assumes the risk in fraudulent purchases and credit card fraud?

Fraud Liability:

 

  • If we process payment for the order, then we assume 100% fraud liability.


  • If the bookseller processes the payment, then the bookseller assumes the risk of fraud.


We employ a unique system of fraud detection for all orders coming through the site. If we learn of the fraud before the book is marked shipped, we will notify the bookseller that the order is canceled and that the shipment should be canceled immediately.
