We can offer some simple ideas that may be used to increase your sales on Biblio.
Add photos: Add photographs of each of your books at no cost! There is really no better way to increase interest in your listings than to add images of them, even where a stock photo based on ISBN is available. In addition, providing photos or scans of your books priced at $100 or more qualifies them for the additional exposure of the Rare Book Rooms.

ISBN's: Be certain you are including ISBNs wherever possible. Over half of customers search by ISBN.
Create a Sale: Offer portions of your inventory at reduced prices by creating a bookseller sale.
Offer Free Shipping: More and more internet customers are looking specifically for sellers that offer free shipping. This can be done easily by simply setting the appropriate values to 0 in your shipping matrix, or you can offer free shipping on select items.
Reasonable shipping rates: Ensure that you are using current and competitive shipping rates in your shipping matrix. For details about adjusting your shipping matrix, click here
Check your listings: Check to make sure that your listings are displaying properly on the Biblio website.
Purge and Replace: Perform a Purge and Replace no more often than quarterly to ensure accuracy in your listings.
Additional listing data: Use additional data fields in your uploads (such as a "keywords" field) so that your listings will be included in a wider range of search criteria.
Detailed book descriptions: Customers appreciate detailed descriptions, especially on valuable and rate items. Provide as much detail as you can about the physical condition of the book's binding, pages, dust jacket, etc. Unique book descriptions can help get your listings higher in search engine results as well.
Catalogs: Make use of the Biblio "Manage my catalogs" tool in your Bookseller Menu. Once you have uploaded catalogs, you will want to use that page to activate your catalogs. You can also "map" your catalog names to BISAC subject headings, which allows customers to browse your inventory in our Browse by Subject section. For more details about managing your catalogs, click How do I manage catalogs?
Return policy: Make sure that your terms of sale include a reasonable return policy.
Customer inquiries: Respond quickly when you receive a customer inquiry through Biblio.
Professional communication: Use professional communications and make sure to use language similar to your stated policies on Biblio when communicating with customers.
Contact us directly at bookseller-support@biblio.com for assistance using any of these tools, or to request a review of your account. We'll be happy to offer specific suggestions based on your account and inventory!
