What is the Auction and Book Sales Archive?

We are excited to introduce the forthcoming BIBLIO’s Auction and Book Sales Archive. This archive comprises almost five decades of auction records, meticulously gathered by American Book Prices Current, and is complemented by BIBLIO’s extensive historical sales data. The Auction and Book Sales Archive delivers distinctive and authoritative insights into book values, rarity, and provenance. It serves as a valuable resource for rare book dealers, appraisers, institutions, collectors, and anyone engaged in or passionate about the rare and antiquarian book industry.

What is the relationship between BIBLIO and American Book Prices Current (ABPC)?

In 2024, BIBLIO, in collaboration with the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America, acquired the exclusive rights to ABPC's database. This strategic move aims to uphold and enhance the legacy of furnishing valuable and authoritative insights into the value, scarcity, and provenance of books and manuscripts
