Who collects taxes on orders placed through Biblio?

Modified on Thu, 25 Apr at 3:22 PM

Recent tax law changes in many U.S. states now require that Biblio calculate, collect and remit sales tax to those states. If you are a seller in an affected state, please read about Biblio's Tax Policy.

For all other sales, Biblio neither collects nor remits taxes or duties at this time. Sales are completed between the bookseller and the customer, therefore the bookseller is liable for the payment of any applicable taxes.

We recommend that you either build your sales tax cost into your book prices or use the Adjust Charges option on the order detail screen to request additional funds towards tax if it is needed.
