This FAQ pertains to Version 1 of our shipping matrix, which allows for adjustments to postage rates but not estimated delivery days.  We created Version 2 (which allows sellers to adjust estimated days for delivery) several years ago, but for some countries, there is still no V2 shipping matrix in place.  If you live in a country for which there is currently no V2 shipping matrix available, and you would like to help us create one, please get in touch with us at bookseller-support@biblio.com

The shipping matrix (Version 1) allows you to set your shipping rates by the destination country and shipping type.

The column headings are as follows:

  • Destination Country
  • Surface/Media Rate for 1st Book - The flat surface or media rate for the first book.
  • Surface/Media Each Additional Piece - The additional charge for each book shipped surface or media on the same order.
  • Air/Priority Rate for 1st Book - The flat air or priority rate for the first book.
  • Air/Priority Each Additional Piece - The additional charge for each book shipped air or priority on the same order.

Whether you are using the Version 1 or Version 2 shipping matrix, you can adjust the shipping charges after the order is placed if the item is very large (or small).   Use the "Adjust charges" button to request additional postage or to refund the postage to the customer.  For more information about charge adjustments, click here.
